Smith Mayo
Smith’s love for construction began when he was 15 years old. A family friend gave him a summer construction job and he has been building ever since. Smith grew up in Atlanta, he went to high school at Druid Hills High and graduated from Georgia Southern College. Immediately after school Smith went into construction full-time, building houses all over metro-Atlanta.
Smith came to The Providence Group on the advice of a good friend and has proven to be a valuable asset to our team. He is a people-person to the core and his willingness to listen to the buyer has made him the craftsman he is today. “I’m not just building a house, I’m building someone’s home,” says Smith. “I want the people who purchase the homes I build to enjoy every aspect of their home…just like I did growing up.”
Smith carries himself with the utmost integrity and is always proud of his work. “I am always telling my kids to be honest and to do the best job you possibly can,” says Smith. “You should never be ashamed to say ‘I did that.’”
Smith lives in Canton, GA. Outside of the office, Smith enjoys spending time with his kids. He also enjoys fishing, spending time with old friends and making new friends.
