Ron Hult
“I’ve always been interested in construction” , says Ron Hult, who started his career building tree houses and skate board ramps as a youngster.
Growing up in Dunwoody, Georgia, Ron attended Peachtree High school and after graduation, was accepted to Georgia Southern University, from where he graduated with a degree in Business.
Recruited to the GE Corporation as a Retail Financial Operations Manager, Ron managed to work in the corporate world just long enough to know that it wasn’t for him. From the corporate structure of GE to the construction “field” as a finish manager with an apartment construction company, Ron took a leap of faith. He was in that environment for several years when he decided that the best direction for his career was in residential construction.
The national homebuilder that Ron worked for gave him excellent training and coupled with his tenacity he moved from assistant manager to project manager with-in two years. “I love the end result…that I accomplished the building of a home”. It’s very rewarding to Ron to see architectural drawings become three dimensional.
His dedication to the craft means that building is a constant learning opportunity, a challenge that keeps him interested in what he does every day. “If it’s right, it’s right. If it’s wrong, it’s wrong”. Ron lives his life by adhering to those values. “No short-cuts”…
His values translate to happy customers. The Providence Group is delighted with the responses that Ron receives on Customer Satisfaction Surveys. “I get along with everybody”. Perhaps it’s doing what you love to do and doing it right that makes for a great experience for Ron and his customers.
Ron and his wife live on acreage in Jasper, Georgia with their horses, chickens and dogs. They enjoy ATV riding, hunting, gardening, fishing, camping and golf.
