Ron Folds
"I got into this business purely by accident" says Ron Folds, of his lifelong career in the building industry.
Right out of W. Georgia College, Ron went to work for Coca-Cola as a sales representative. As it turned out, sales just didn't fit with Ron's lifestyle and personality. So he began homebuilding, from the ground level up.
Ron has been in construction since the '60s, where he has gained expertise in single family, multi-family residential and light commercial building. His qualifications include certifications in Soil Erosion and OSHA safety, significant factors in our world today! His experience also includes damage control from fire and water; gained when he did work for insurance companies looking for expertise in these areas.
His vast knowledge and experience are what made him so attractive to The Providence Group, when they finally convinced him to join the company in 2003. "His skills with the customers are what put him on the top of our list," says Jim Reynolds, who brought Ron into the company. "We know that he will make the home buying experience a great one for our homebuyers."
Ron is married to his wife, Annie. He has one daughter and one grandson and lives in Rockmart, Ga.
