Dee Thomas
If you were to ask Dee Thomas how he got into the construction industry, he would say that he “just fell into it.” Dee graduated from Georgia State University with a MBA degree in Finance. Following a 6 years of service in the Army, he worked as a project manager at MCI building telecom rooms. After that he built telecom rooms and remodeled passenger terminals for Delta Airlines. “From there I jumped into high end multi-family housing for an Atlanta Developer,” says Dee. “We worked on projects in Atlanta, Boston and Chicago.”
Dee considers the most vital aspect of homebuilding to be attention to detail at every stage, a philosophy The Providence Group adopted from conception. Given this similarity, it was natural for The Providence Group to bring Dee aboard as a Project Manager in 2006. Along with his impeccable attention to detail, he brings over 15 years of experience in the multi-family construction and renovation industry.
“I enjoy the results,” Dee said when asked what he likes most about his job. “Seeing the finished product and walking with the owner through their new home for the first time gives me a great sense of accomplishment.”
Dee currently resides in Dunwoody, Ga. with his wife, Helen, and 3 children Hayley, Conner and Harrison.
