Charlie Studle

For Charlie Studle construction is more than a job, it is a family tradition.   Charlie got into construction when he was a child by watching his father.  He went to work with his dad and learned first hand the ‘ins and outs’ of the construction business.  When he was ready, he ventured out for himself and built homes all over the Southeast.  From Georgia to Texas, Florida to Washington D.C, Tennessee to North Carolina and even Alabama, Charlie developed his reputation as a builder, one home at a time.

It was no surprise when Charlie’s two sons wanted to learn more about construction.  Each day at work, Charlie taught his boys how to build the only way he knew how: by being an example, just as his father taught him. Charlie showed them the importance of building quality homes, being a man of your word and that hard work pays off at the end of the day.  In fact, that is one of the things Charlie enjoys most about construction, “After the job is finished, I like to look back and see the finished product…its tangible evidence of my hard work.”

At The Providence Group, Charlie has not only lived up to his building reputation but also proven to be a successful leader.  “I always treat people as I would want to be treated,” said Studle, “You’ll accomplish more with sugar than salt.”  And that is the motto he lives by every day, whether he’s on-site or at home with his family.

Charlie has been married to his wife Debbie for 28 years.  They have two sons, Ryan and Blake, who are both in the construction industry.  He loves to hunt and fish, especially when his two Labrador Retrievers are at his side.  He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys watching football, baseball and basketball.
