Andrew Knowles

Hailing from Papakura, New Zealand, Andrew Knowles started his building career working with his uncle.  Since that time, Andrew’s love for construction has grown.  “I enjoy the challenge of creating beautiful homes from nothing,” says Andrew.  He served in the New Zealand Army for two years and then decided to go into construction full time.  After working in New Zealand for several years, he moved Australia and continued to develop his talents.

“Andrew Knowles was great – best experience we have had [with a construction manager.]”

It wasn’t long before Andrew decided to broaden his horizons even further. In 1998, he came to the United States to temporarily work with friends.  A temporary stay turned into a more permanent one when he met Jamie, his future wife.  Andrew worked for several builders before The Providence Group recruited him to join their team in 2006.

Andrew believes ‘quality’ is the most important factor in building a house.  “I build each house as if it were my own,” Andrew said when asked how he maintains quality throughout the building process.  “The homes I build are a direct reflection of my work. I want each homeowner to be as proud of their new home as I am.”

Andrew has been married to his wife, Jamie, for seven years.  They have three children: Nicholas, Sarah and Monica.  They also love animals and have two dogs, two cats and a leopard Gecko.  When Andrew isn’t busy at work you will find him spending time with his family.  He loves going to the kid’s baseball and softball games and taking his family camping or hiking.
