Manager, Quality & Homeowner Services

Tommy Steadman

Tommy entered the residential construction industry in 2001 and joined The Providence Group in 2003 after a distinguished career at AT&T. "Homebuilding is my second career" he says, after sharing a lengthy resume packed with more than three decades of diverse managerial assignments in sales, marketing, plant operations, and customer service. One of the high points of Tommy's AT&T career was a stint as a "loaned executive" at the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG). The Olympic organizers astutely tapped Tommy's extensive project management experience and put him in charge of voice communications for eleven venues of the 1996 Olympic Games, an exciting and challenging assignment.

"The skills required to successfully implement a complex telecommunications network are the same as those required to build a quality home -- it's just a different end product", says Tommy. "It's all about communicating and working effectively with people - subcontractors, inspectors and homebuyers. Even the measures of success - schedule, cost and customer satisfaction - are the same." Tommy enjoys the intense personal interaction required of successful homebuilders and he takes great pride in his meticulous attention to detail and demand for excellence, two personal qualities that endear him to homebuyers!

In his leisure, Tommy is an avid hunter and shooting sports competitor and holds National Rifle Association Expert classifications in multiple competitive shooting disciplines.
